Read this text from the speech: " . . .for we meet in an hour of change and challenge, in a decade of hope and fear, in an age of both knowledge and ignorance. The greater our knowledge increases, the greater our ignorance unfolds." Which answer best describes Kennedy's point of view as presented in this excerpt?

He believes those who are uneducated will miss important opportunities. He feels the challenge of realizing his vision will cause fear in those who don't understand it. He believes times are uncertain because as people learn more they realize what they don't know. <- my choice He feels the more educated people become, the more concerns and questions they have.

OpenStudy (tinylittlehelper):

It's not D, obviously. And there was no vision in the part of the speech, so it's not B. I think you are correct because A doesn't make enough sense.

Can I get your opinion on another one?

Sure!

A writer wants to develop an argument on the following issue: Voters should vote in every election. Which answer offers the most logical claim on this issue? While it may be difficult to enforce fairly, we should find ways to encourage voter participation in every election. In order to hold elected politicians accountable, all eligible Americans should exercise their right to vote. Couldn't decide from the two above

OpenStudy (tinylittlehelper):

So, the first one states that even though some people might not want to, all VOTERS should vote in every election. The second one states that all AMERICANS should vote. Which one makes more sense? Which would you put in a paper?

Ohh thanks that helped a lot..
