OpenStudy (britanyashton):

why isn't tidal power a steady source of power?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tidal power? it is hydro power?

OpenStudy (britanyashton):

like damns, and underwater turbines; so yes.

OpenStudy (kaibaseto):

Tidal power has its benefits and drawbacks. Also, Kat tidal power is a form of hydro power. Tidal power has its trait of being much more easier to predict which is a good trait, however the amount of time that the tides would be able to produce output is very limited. Still I would put using tidal power a mediocre source, because it is predictable, however because of its inconsistency I would put using tidal power a 3 out of 5.
