Question

people keep making good-bye posts they should be considered spam.
1) It has nothing to do with OpenStudy feedback
2) Usually most of the time when these posts are made I see the same user the next day or the date they say they were going to leave on and they are still here!
I am not saying you should leave but my point is,it is annoying when people make these posts. I see no way they relate to OS besides them leaving it.

I see posts made by the same users saying that they're going to leave. So I do agree that those repetetive posts are spam.

I disagree though because some people might be actually leaving like me, but I am just getting a job...I won't be online to often :/

A few points in consideration,

If they are an older user who is very helpful then they should be allowed to make the post. Many people rely on their help and with them gone, they need to know so that way they don't end up tagging the user and never see him respond to their tags... And only if they are truly leaving. Not because today they are upset or something that affected them personally. If they are leaving, they have to be serious. They can't just come back the next day and act as if they never made that post...

Another thing to consider is that, if they do make a post saying that they are leaving, they can at least thank OpenStudy and the user's or whatever, and they can also tell about what they like about OS to not make it seem like a drama post where they want people to tell them how special they are and want them to come back ,-,
