TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Question #4 asks you to find each percentage for each genre. So, your answers for #4 would be: \(\sf\Large\frac{Music~Genre~1}{Total~Sales}\times 100\text{%}\) And you do that for each music genre. And you already calculated the Total Sales and that came to be 9000.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how would I enter it on a calculator because the answer im not sure if the answer i got was correct.. @TheSmartOne

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Lets say whatever value you get for "Music Genre" is a. And total sales is b. Then a/b x 100

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

the x is a times btw

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

"lol thats me" imperosnating someone you aren't x'D

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Your answers for #4 are correct :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay lol if you want to believe that. lets move to 5.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Ok, take whatever percentages you got and multiply them by 360

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

So: 35% x 360 = .35 x 360 = ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did that and wasn't sure. Here's what I got. rock=126 rap=90 classical=51 other=180 country=72

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@TheSmartOne

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

and whichever values are the largest, get the bigger sector...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so those results are correct? ^ & if so what would be the final answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@TheSmartOne

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Those angle values are correct.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Now just figure out which part of the circle they belong to. The bigger the number is, the larger the part of the circle they get.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

and then you associate the color with the genre, and put the angle value you just calculated next to it.
