OpenStudy (amistre64):

order of poerations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*operations

OpenStudy (amistre64):

'order of operations' is the standard term for how we process mathmatical notations otherwise there is no consistency 1 - 3 * 9, if there is no order of operations, then we get (1-3)*9 = -2*9 or 1 - (3*9) = 1 - 27 the results change if we do not define an order to our process.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah it is suppost to go in oder

OpenStudy (amistre64):

and what is your order of operations? youve got it defined in your course materials and now this is the place to apply it. how would you process it ?
