how dos a fraction and a whole number add up to a percent?????????
what do you mean?
Well, let's just say we're going to add three-fourths and one whole together in order to find out what they are as a percent. Adding three-fourths and one whole gets you one and three-fourths. Since one whole is 100%, and three-fourths is 75%, adding those two together would get you 175%. Another example: Four-fifths + 2 wholes = ? Four fifths = 80% 2 wholes = 200% 80% + 200% = 280% You can convert fractions into percentages through means of dividing the numerator into the denominator, either by calculator or by hand. As for whole numbers, you merely take the number(s) provided and add on 2 zeroes to them to get them to their percentage equivalent. 9 wholes = 900%. I hope that helps! (^_^)
