I am sure I would have regretted it if I ……… to take the job. would agree did agree would have agreed had agreed
what can you cancel out?
Well, since it's past tense, it would most likely be C or D
*face palm* I'm an idiot.
im not sure actually :/ it can be all of them
nope it can only be one of them... think of it as a math equation and they are giving you the value of X try plugging them into the sentence
i did and they all make sense .-.
oh gosh idk how to explain it but i found the most fitting answer is C
I dont take direct answers i need something to help me understand...
is that all they gave you? no instruction or anything?
no it says which words best fits .-.
It's past tense. Go with that bruh. "Would have" implies that it has happened already
???
I am studying for my finals i need to understand this or i will fail next week!
WE GOTCHU AMBY! Chill mmk?
?
well not exactly.... you can still pass if you don't understand 1 question but as steve was saying, it's past tense (most likely) so you only have a few choices that are past tense which are B, C, and D. B is saying did "I am sure I would have regretted it did agree to take the job." that sounds a little off to me
:/
Dude i need to understand not just listen to what people say and think is correct T_T
I am sure I \(\bf{would~ have}\) regrett\(\bf{ed}\) it if I ……… to take the job.
would have agreed?
exactly, that would be the one that would most fit the sentence :)
*cough* i said that *cough*
the would have is kind of parallel structure, and it also keeps up with the past present tense :)
*cough cough" explaining it is better than guessing.
@hysusonic She needed to understand how that was the answer... :P
i knew the answer i'm just terrible at explaining :/
*cough cough" explaining it is better than guessing.
