I think there should be a Sent and Deleted messages folder.

For sent message:
Message button -> View All Messages -> Sent

For deleted messages, why do you want to check the messages you deleted? You won't delete a message if you want to keep it.

No no. I know.. but like email. You can see the one's you've deleted.. What if you don't mean to delete one? And it happened to me yesterday, that it was so slow, I click "Delete" twice and it deleted two messages, instead of one.

Well, in that case, a log showing the deleted messages may be useful and convenient. Though, with the current system, you just have to be more careful when you click on the delete button, especially when the site is lagging.
