Find the radian measure of an angle of -280 degrees. Can someone please explain this..

pi radian =180 degree so 1 degree= pi /180 radian

Like the equation is in my book.. I've been looking at it for like 20 straight minutes and don't understand... they used 27 degrees and when they put the 27 into the equation they divided the 27 and 180 by 9. It's probably obvious but idk :/

when convert degree into radian divide by 180 and multiply the angle and pi.
