Will Medal Sketch the graph of a wave with a period of 2 and an amplitude of 4

OpenStudy (omarbirjas):

I know that the peak and the trough will be at 4...i just don't know where the period would be....

That's what a period of 2 looks like. Any wave that takes 2 units to complete a cycle

OpenStudy (omarbirjas):

Ok and the amplitude I got right? right? the peak and the trough need to be at 4....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Amplitude is half the distance between peak and trough, so there has to be 8 units between them. If your peak is at 4, then the trough has to be at -4. If your trough is at 4, then the peak has to be at 12.
