It was a cold, rainy, foggy night, as I walked away from all I had known. With each step i felt happier knowing the unknown laid ahead. After hours of walking, I started to fear the reality of my choices. Alone, empty, cold i trudged on.

Out of the silence I heard the sound of a vehicle approaching. My heart raced at the thought of getting a ride. I saw the headlights in the distance grow closer. I stuck out my thumb, as it grew near. I could hear the car slowing, but then it moved to the center of the road and accelerated. As it sped by it hit a large area of water and sent a wave into me with such force it knocked me over. I fell backwards and all went black.

As i awoke, my head throbbing, I wondered what had happened. My flesh felt on fire, painful burning sensations filled my mind. I lifted up my arm, and I could see in the moonlight I was covered in ants. I tried to scream, but nothing came out, and I slid back into the blackness.

I awoke again, with searing pain. The ants were tearing me apart. They were in my mouth, my eyes, my nose. I was being eaten alive. I couldnt believe what was happening. I lifted my hand up and could see the bones in my fingers, the flesh torn away. Why had I left home, why had I...
All went dark, as my choices killed me.
