OpenStudy (dtan5457):

When we use a graphing calculator and use nCr or nPr, are these with or without repetitions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Without repetitions, nPr is when the order matters and nCr the order does not matter

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

I am aware that with repetitions, for permutations you can do n^r what about combinations? or do I have to memorize those formulas?

Nnesha (nnesha):

i guess yes

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

lol what i just wrote doesn't make sense

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

final conclusion: memorize formulas

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

calculator=without repetitions

Nnesha (nnesha):

yes it's not too hard :P

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

unless there is some key on the calculator for repetitons?

Nnesha (nnesha):

i don't know never used calc for these type of questions

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

if they end up with something like 40!

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

i think you would need it

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

and one more quick question, which formula is this?

Nnesha (nnesha):

|dw:1431911522129:dw| 10 numbers are left you can use calculator for those 10 numbers :P
