Write the equation of a circle with center (-3,2) and the radius 4(sqrt5)

OpenStudy (misty1212):

HI!!

OpenStudy (misty1212):

notice it says "write" not "find"

OpenStudy (misty1212):

\[(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2-r^2\] put \[h=-3,k=2,r=4\sqrt5\]

OpenStudy (misty1212):

in other words just write it the only thing you would need to "find" is \((4\sqrt5)^2\)

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Misty meant: \((x - h)^2 + (y - k)^2 = r^2\)

Ok thanks guys. Been a while since I done these and need to get it back in my head.
