Walk Two Moons questions: 1. What effect does Mrs. Winterbottom’s decision have on Phoebe? Phoebe is humiliated by her mother’s decision to leave. Phoebe’s behavior becomes increasingly tense and ornery. Phoebe is withdrawn and refuses to socialize with her friends. Phoebe is too preoccupied with the anonymous messages to be concerned about her mother’s absence. 2. Why is Phoebe so picky and impolite at the Finneys’ dinner table? She was worried about their cholesterol. I haven't got that far in the book yet. I will fan and medal.
She missed the meals her mother would prepare. She was annoyed at the Finneys' lack of manners. She only liked the taste of vegetables. ^ I forgot some choices for number 2
I read this book back in 7th grade. Although I don't remember 1, 2 is because she is worried about their cholesterol.
