1/2+1/5=1/t

What do you think it is?

OpenStudy (er.mohd.amir):

take LCM on LHS

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are several way to do this. One is to find clear the fractions by multiplying the whole equation by the common denominator (2*5*t). Another is to just add 1/2 + 1/5, then t would be the reciprocal of that.

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

$$\Huge \dfrac{1}{2} + \dfrac{1}{5} = \dfrac{1}{t}$$ $$\Huge 2•5•t(\dfrac{1}{2} + \dfrac{1}{5})=2•5•t •\dfrac{1}{t}$$
