'Looking for the light'

Looking for that happiness
As life moves ever onward
To help cope with the stress
To keep moving forward

Looking for that joyous thing
Searching from the very start
That makes one want to sing
With glee from the heart

Looking for that special one
Unique in every way
To be with when the day is done
Forever they shall stay

Looking for that reason
To make it all worthwhile
With the ever changing season
A justification to smile

Looking for that light
At the end of the tunnel
That will make life bright
Instead of going down a funnel
