Which mutation would be most beneficial to a panther and its descendents? A. slightly larger ears B. eye color changed from green to brown C. an extra toe D. thicker fur

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you there @barreraA

OpenStudy (anonymous):

anyone?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Looks like Anaphase II to me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

As for the panther question, it depends on what the selective pressure it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

larger ears may allow them to hear prey better, different color eyes may work better if it is sunny, another toe might help them balance better or run faster, and thicker fur might help in a colder environment.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

True Very true

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it could be Ears because they would get more prey and they would get more food.

thanks @jherrera57
