the left part(x<9) of the function is x+9 plugin x = 9, what do you get ?

so both left and right limits exist and are equal to 18

that means the overall limit exists and equals 18

So basically, I am using the given function and plugging in the left and right limits?

And solving to see if they are equal?

start by finding the left limit plugin x=1 in 1-x what do u get ?

0, and then for the right limit I would get 8 correct?

yes! left limit = 0 right limit = 8 they don't agree, so the overall limit DOESN'T EXIST
