Basically you use these pounts and replace them for x and y so for points (-2,7) the equation would look like this... 7=2(-2)-3 remeber this (x, y) is how you can tell what is x and what is y is. go through and figure out which one you think it is and I'll check your work

lets take a the point (-4,-11) and place the values in the equation you were given... -11=2(-4)-3 -11=-8-3 -11=-11 looks like the answer to this problem is (-4,-11)
