With all these benefits, it's hard to understand the people who report a strong dislike of cats. Sure they can be aloof. They do seem to want life on their own terms. What is the main point of these lines? Cats are not actually the ideal pet. Cats really are difficult to understand. There are reasons for cats' bad behavior. There may be reasons why some people don't like cats.
