Which of the following scenarios is the best example of competition motivating a household in a free market economy? A family goes on a cross-country camping trip A family is required by the government to purchase health insurance A family buys a value-meal combo from a restaurant A family receives assistance from the government to buy food

I would say a family is required by the government to purchase health insurance.
Government requirements and assistance are anti-free market. The market allows consumers to but what they want at the prices they want. It also allows producers to produce what they want and sell at the price they want. The value meal is an example of the free market. The restaurant lowers prices to make a sale. The family chooses the product based on price. There is no government coercion.
