When writing an argument, what must you do with the counterargument in order to strengthen your claim?
Briefly state that there is a counterargument without exploring what it is Present the counterargument in a negative light and avoid positive facts Ignore the counterargument so the reader will not become distracted. Fairly state the counterargument to demonstrate you have researched it
@Thesmarterone
I think its A
why do you think it's A?
because it strengthens the claim
Depending on what your topic is....you need a few reasons why you think that is a good claim because that will be evidence that helps support your claim.
^
so i am correct?
do you think you're correct?
Your being so confusing shifu X'D
I think i am
I am positive you are too :D
kk shifu
I don't think it is A :P
It's A because you wouldn't do B, and you wouldn't ignore the counterargument, and D makes sense too so...Hmmm...now that i think about it D sounds correct too
Because you even said "Depending on what your topic is....you need a few reasons why you think that is a good claim because that will be evidence that helps support your claim." So it can't be A because it says "Briefly state that there is a counterargument ***without exploring what it is***" XD
so, saying this we might infer the answer is D
Yes...
okay I thought so...but A made sense as well soo... @ElonaSushchik your answer is D :)
okay...
:) I am gonna feel SO bad if I am wrong now Lol
:P
ill let u guys know..
in my eyes it would be A or D
so correct answer or not *drumroll please*
imm still doing the test i will let u guys know if it was correct....
