Mehek (mehek14):
have you tried plugging in the ordered pairs?
OpenStudy (jhannybean):
Plug in your points into your function to see which points satisfy the equation = 5.
OpenStudy (jhannybean):
Remember, ordered pairs : \((x~,~y)\)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
but it didt work

Mehek (mehek14):
it easier to just plug in the ordered pairs into your equation
OpenStudy (jhannybean):
Ex: \((x~,~y) \implies (1~,~5)\)
That means \(x=1~,~y=5\)
Mehek (mehek14):
like for A
4(-4) + 7(-3) = -5
see if it is true and do the same for the rest
Mehek (mehek14):
so check and tell me if A is true
OpenStudy (anonymous):
oh okay hold on let me work it out

and you know using desmos is easy
just type in the equation and see which ordered pair is on the line
OpenStudy (anonymous):
1.25 came out so that didnt work
Mehek (mehek14):
alright moving on to b
Mehek (mehek14):
yea so go to B
OpenStudy (anonymous):
B is -5
