please help me:)!!!!!! What is the vertex of the parabola when the equation is y=(x+3 to the power of 2) -1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(-3,-1) would be the vertex of the parabola.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(-3,-1) is a point you get x by solving x+3 = 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

move the three to the right hand side, and you get x = -3.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the vertex is x = -3 and y = - 1.
