I have to chose which reason was the top the least and the middle reason that led to the fall of the Soviet Union. I just don't know which ones are the top middle and least

The coup attempt was the final straw. The people had enough and got enough military support to put and end to the Soviet Union. That would be the top event in my opinion.

The 1956 Hungarian uprising actually helped strengthen Soviet control of eastern Europe. The brutal massive reaction by the Soviets sent a clear message to all Iron Curtain countries that the USSR held power over them.

So the Hungarian uprising would be the least.

And middle would be any of those others. Gorbachev elevation or Prague spring should do
