What has been the United States' reaction to terrorism? What have they done about it? -- Trying to find this information for an essay. I'm finding a lot of long articles with words I can't really comprehend with my current headache situation. Can someone put the responses into simpler terms for me? Thank you.

OpenStudy (darrenmadx):

www.unc.edu/depts/diplomat/item/2007/1012/smit/smith_response.html is a good website that talks about how America deals with terrorism since the end of the cold war. so I hope this helps you

OpenStudy (leahhhmorgannn):

I saw that before. Doesn't help much because I can't really focus long enough to read all of that and actually make sense of it. but thanks for actually trying to help anyways :)

OpenStudy (dan815):

Okay, lets see!! united stated resposes to terrorisM EH!!

OpenStudy (dan815):

I think the most promiment reply to terrorism can be seen from bushes actions, American's voted for those events, they supported that stuff

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Increased military spending, deployed troops to several nations (E.g. Iraq, Syria, Nigeria, etc), some of which have been combat troops. They have had to shape decision making, and how we fight our wars, like restricting the ROE even more to limit noncombatant deaths(Which has killed more American troops), etc.
