Would log7(3x-5) = log7(x=7) be x = 6

Nnesha (nnesha):

http://prntscr.com/7774mj x + or - 7 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh +

Nnesha (nnesha):

anyways hint: \[\huge\rm log_b x = \log_b y\] \[\huge\rm\cancel { log_b} x = \cancel{\log_b} y\] x=y if there are same log base both side you can cancel them out

Nnesha (nnesha):

replace x by 6 and thn just simple math :-)
