What is the volume of the figure?
volume of rectangle is 13*16
208
16*3
48
c... it wud b the volume of the cuboid n the pyramid on top of it... so vol. of the cuboid wud be l x b x h= 13x4x4 vol of cuboid would b 1/4 th of the volume of cuboid it has been cut from... which wud result in 1/4 (4x4x3) so adding tham up wud give u the volume of the figure.. :)
@Haichi volume of a rectangle ?
do you still need help with this problem?
yes @gummybear1021
can you modify what the shape is for me, that would help me understand the problem a bit better
okay, the formula for volume of a pyramid would be length x width x height divided by three
@triciaal Help please lol
@jim_thompson5910
so with that being said 13*16 is 208 then 16*3 is 48 and 208 plus 48 is 256 and 256 divided by 3 is 85.3333333333333 or 85.3 or 85.33 i may be wrong but that is the answer that im going with
volume of a pyramid = 1/3 * base area * height
i would get some help from other people as well. because i got confused trying to do this, so i probably got the whole thing wrong tbh
take me through the steps @triciaal
volume of the rectangular prism = base area* height
