OpenStudy (ooxbrittanyxoo):

Can you guys help me please? (will medal if correct) Your uncle John lives on land at the mouth of a river. If you look at old maps, you can see that the land has actually grown farther into the river over time. Your uncle also tells you that there are many different kinds of animals, and that soil is good for growing crops. What do you think caused this land to form?

OpenStudy (ooxbrittanyxoo):

A: deposition of sediment due to a change in stream gradient at the mouth of the river B: erosion that slowly pushed the banks of the channel outward C: deposition of sediment due to a rapid change in stream speed at the mouth of the river D: erosion that brings rich soil from turbulent mountain streams

OpenStudy (ooxbrittanyxoo):

I know its not D

OpenStudy (ooxbrittanyxoo):

And I know its not B

OpenStudy (anonymous):
