Does anyone here know ASL? (American Sign Language)
I wasn't getting answers in other categories. There weren't many people online.
yes
I'm in a serious time crunch... Here's my assignment: Write a 7–10 sentence dialogue between two people about going out for lunch. Write the dialogue using ASL gloss. Include classifiers, NMMS (non-manual markers), and body shift. Write the English in parentheses. Include the “food" vocabulary from the lesson in your dialogue. Use only vocabulary that you know how to sign. If you use a new sign, make sure you look in an ASL dictionary and know how to sign it.
Could you help me @allyvanesch ?
Do you have to act this out or write it down?
write it out
what have been your attempts so far?
1. Hello, would you like some coffee? 2.Yes, please, how about 2 sandwiches as well? 1.Sure! Let's get a table we order and once the food gets out. 2.This sandwich is delicious! How is yours? 1.There is too much cheese and not enough ham. 2.What about your coffee? 1.It's quite good! 2. Yes, all the food here was pretty good. 1.I have to go bye! 2. bye!
well that's the problem, They've never given me an assignment like this before so I honestly have no idea how to do it. I tried to look back at previous assignments to learn how to do it but it wasn't helpful...
@allyvanesch yes that was good dialogue but now it has to be translated into ASL format...
im not sure how to do written sign language ...
@amistre64 well thank you anyway :)

I'm not sure what that is
http://www.aslpro.com/cgi-bin/aslpro/quizme.cgi if you need any signing pointers. i usually do a 30 item quizme thing ...
the cute girls are distracting at times ... but yeah lol
No one ended up helping me....
I NEED HELP!!
This is what I guessed and I'm assuming its totally wrong: “Hello, coffee you like?” “Yes, sandwich also?” “Good, table you chose.” “Sandwich delicious! Sandwich yours good?” “Cheese too much.” “Coffee yours good?” “Good very.” “Food here good.” “Thank you inviting me. Goodbye!” “Goodbye!”
It was originally: “Hello, you would like coffee?” “Yes, two sandwiches as well?” “That sounds good, let’s chose a table.” “This sandwich is delicious! How is yours?” “There is too much cheese and not enough ham.” “What about your coffee?” “It is very good.” “Yes, all the food here was well made.” “Thank you for inviting me. Goodbye!” “Bye!”
