Mean is the average. So you need to add up all the options and divide that answer by the number of options. So you have 3 numbers, 5.39, 8.35, and 3.81. Add those 3 together and then divide that number by 3 That will be your mean, or average, of those numbers. Simple example; If you have 2 numbers, 1 and 3, you would add them together and get 4, then divide that by 2 because you start with 2 numbers and get a answer of 2. Which makes sense because 2 is halfway between 1 and 3.
