y=mx+b is slope intercept form. Here your equation is -1/2 x + 3 B is the y-intercept. The point (0,B) for the line. So you need a line that has (0,3) for a point. Then look at your slope. -1/2 The top value is your y change. The bottom value is you x change. That means that for each new point the line will have a -1 y change, and a +2 x change. If you start at (0,3) you would go to the next point of: (0-1, 3+2). What do you think your answer is now? Can this help you figure it out?
