TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

So how do you want to solve it? Do you want to just plug in numbers into each answer choice and figure it out, or do you want to calculate the slope and go that way?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes That is what i was doing but nothing matches can you write out the problem and how the answer goes in?????

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

There are two points for this line that we know of for sure \(\sf \Large (0,5)\) and \(\sf\Large (9,0)\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

plug in one of the points into each answer choice and if it works, keep that answer and eliminate the ones that don't work. You might get 2 answers that work. Then you plug in the 2nd point and you get the final answer c:

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

another way is to just graph each equation using http://www.desmos.com/calculator

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

and see which equation's graph matches the one in the question c:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, Look \[5\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

UGH HE LEFT

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol ^

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

I get a lot of tags and notifications, I might leave to attent to another but I'll be right back :)

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Jerk Face Well thats another failing in my grade

OpenStudy (mahmood786123):

Dont be rude

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im just sad

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Here is the graph of answer choice D https://www.desmos.com/calculator/lmjekyg1xl Does it match the one in the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its says the answer is A

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

That is the correct answer :)

OpenStudy (mahmood786123):

Oh thats Ok this life will have its dissapointments

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you said C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"plug in one of the points into each answer choice and if it works, keep that answer and eliminate the ones that don't work. You might get 2 answers that work. Then you plug in the 2nd point and you get the final answer c: "

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

btw im 16

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

That's a smiley face c:

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

And what was this a 5 question test? Even if you did get this one correct, that would be a 40%.... still a failing grade...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no all the other ones was told by a really good guy and they are all wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got a 20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dude a 70% is a failing grade @TheSmartOne

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

70% is the border of failing and passing. But is considered passing. :p
