So we have g(x) = x-4 h(x) = 4x-3 (h-g)(x) means that you take the equation of g and subtract it from the equation of g. so that would be (4x-3) - (x-4) Combine (remember to distribute the - to both the x and -4) (h+g)(x) would be the same but with a + instead of a -. (h*g)(-1) you would do the same setup, but with multiplication. And then what the (-1) means is that anywhere there would be an x, you put in -1 and solve.
