How is the underlined pronoun used in the sentence? I received a five-page letter from him in the mail yesterday. A. indirect object B. object of a preposition<<<<
Which one is underlined?
ooh sorry is HIM
Yes, you are correct about D.
I mean B. :)
No no sorry its A.
lol my bad
lol its fine :D
If you have more questions just call me @markchernioglo ok?
ok thank you
np
it would be B. "him" is the object of a preposition, because prepositions are directional (from, to, over, under, later, before, around, etc) "him" is an object. (I would explain how I know about object vs subject pronouns, and the rules, but at the moment I cant remember... subject pronouns are things like I, you, we, etc. object pronouns are things like me, him, her, they, etc. Hope I could be helpful
ok
