@jim_thompson5910 :)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

what does cot equate to in terms of tan?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

ok, youve gotten that far

OpenStudy (amistre64):

is tan(t) postive or negative on the interval?

OpenStudy (babynini):

positive...?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

yeah, its the slope of a line thru the orgin from 0 to vertical ... its always gonna be above 0 since our domain doesnt include tan(0)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

1/+ is always +

OpenStudy (babynini):

Ah, ok. Thanks. So then y is > 0 too?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

should be, to me at least

OpenStudy (babynini):

Fantastic, let me try it :)
