MEDAL AND FAN

OpenStudy (nuccioreggie):

The graph below shows the relationship between the number of cookies made and the number of pans used: A graph is shown. The values on the x axis are 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. The values on the y axis are 0, 8, 16, 24, 32, 40. Points are shown on the ordered pairs 0, 0 and 1, 8 and 2, 16 and 3, 24 and 4, 32. Only the point on ordered pair 4, 32 is labeled as A. These points are joined by a line. The label on the x axis is Pans. The title on the y axis is Cookies. Which statement best describes point A on the graph? Four pans make 16 cookies. Four pans make 32 cookies. One pan makes 16 cookies. One pan makes 32 cookies.

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Any ideas?

OpenStudy (nuccioreggie):

Yea i thouhht it was B

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Correct :D

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

it should be B as the answer. because the x axis represents pans and we have 4 and y axis is cookies and we got 32.

OpenStudy (nuccioreggie):

I hot that question wrong

OpenStudy (nuccioreggie):

Got

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

huh? why is it wrong?

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

that's strange because skullpatrol said it was correct and I backed it up by explaining it. ?!!!

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

ok wait we know point A is (4,32)

OpenStudy (nuccioreggie):

Idk it just said i got it wronh

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

x = 4 and y = 32. oh they are weird then...

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

I don't get it. Based on the info... x axis is pans... y axis is cookies ... point A (4,32) so x =4 and y = 32. 4 pans 32 cookies.

OpenStudy (nuccioreggie):

Oh wait sorry i was lookinh at another question

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):
