I believe it is D

The question states: Nero began to persecute Christians. Therefore, I can conclude that Nero banned/outlawed Christianity. The is without telling you facts/history about it.

Why are the rest wrong? A Christianity did not decrease it instead increased by the testimony of the first christians being persecuted, many people then believed in Christianity. b Christians had to cremate their dead. They had to take responsibility of their dead even when they were not persecuted. So, being banned did not imply it. c Now about 'Jews hid Christians in their homes'. Lets think logically: it is rare to find a nonChristian give his life for a Christian that believes in something the nonChristian does not. Remember, Christianity is not only for Jews. Therefore, Jews does not necessarily mean Christians. This is a couple of logical statements i wrote here. If you want history, i can reply back with some.
