What are the next three terms of the following sequence? -2,-1,-1/2,-1/4

Hint to get the next term you multiply by a certain farction

would the next one be -1/6 or -1/8 somthing like that?
one of those is correct to find the common ratio r divide the second term by the first

every term divide by 2 so last term/2 is ans
-1/2
to get the next term divide by 2 (as Ex.Mohd said) or multiply by 1/2 (which is the same thing)

its a geometric sequence with common ratio 1/2
so is the next term 1/4
no the next term is -1/4 * 1/2
ohhh i was adding
keep on multiplying by 1/2 to get the nest term(s)
