The probability is 8 / 15. There is 15 marbels in total. So, that is where we got the out of 15 from. Now,we have to look at what he wants. He wants either yellow or purple. There are three yellow and 5 purple marbels. So, if we add those together, we have a total of 8. Let's conclude: 8 out of the 15 marbels are the ones he wants. So,that makes it the probability. I hope I could hepl and sorry for any grammar or langauage mistakes, I am foreign. :)
