Ohh sorry, I had a typo. In first sentence I was going to say "If the slopes are not equal, they would intersect. If not, they won't."

You must check slopes. I have calculated \[m _{1} = -\frac{ 1 }{ 4 }\] and \[m _{2} = 1\] They are not equal so they intersect. Sory, it took so long, my internet.
