A has nothing to do with authority, it is based on 'physical' appeal. Also, no one can be sure who is the prettiest, if they pick it would be influenced by bias, since it depends on a persons interest. A girl can be pretty to you, but ugly to your friend. No one is right, or wrong. It is what YOU think and this wouldn't be fair to other not so attractive people.

B Really? it isn't sports or gym class. It doesn't matter if you can lift so many weights. It isn't fair because some people can be weaker than others. Strength can lead to downfall if not balanced correctly, you'd need self-control and wisdom to balance your power.

C this is unfair, you pick someone because you are related to them? You know that is illegal in some particular elections or activities to pick your relative just because he/she is your bloodline. That is the way monarch decides who takes the thrown, and we don't do that here.

D is correct, it is the most fair and logical.
