The average distance from Earth to the moon is about 3.84*10^5 km, and the distance from Earth to Mars is approximately 8.24*10^7. How many time farther is traveling from Earth to Mars than from Earth to the moon? (hint: round each distance so it has one number followed by zeros).

first: 10^n is 1 with n zeros after it. For example 10^4=10000 second: to round a number, as it asks to do, do it to closest iteger. For example 3.84 is aproximatly = 4 third: find the ratio of the distances and that will be your answer
