Have you considered rewriting \(\cot(x)\) to its equivalent expression involving sine and cosine?

Sinx*(cosx/sinx)=4 Since cot x=1/tanx Cotx=cosx/sinx Sinx cancells out leaving you with cosx=4 You can continue from here. I hope it helps
