OpenStudy (amistre64):

what does the first part mean? what cant we use?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

what is the equation of a circle?

OpenStudy (babynini):

without using the polar forms of x and y I have no idea. Here's an example kindd of alike that my teacher used in class

OpenStudy (babynini):

Sorry it's super fuzzy o.o and barely readable. but if you zoom in super close maybe xD

OpenStudy (babynini):

I gave you all the info that the problem gives me, there's no numbers besides 10 and 0

OpenStudy (amistre64):

still have to use theta? "Without using the polar forms of x and y" ??? what are the polar forms of x and y?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

im still trying to figure out the rules ... how can we turn this into a cartesian equation, but still have to use theta?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

(x-5)^2 + y^2 = 5 is the equation for our circle in cartesian y = sqrt(5-(x-5)^2)
