hat is the perimeter of rectangle ABCD shown on the coordinate plane? units

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Perimeter= 2(l) + 2(w) l = length w = width

Mehek (mehek14):

how many spaces from D to C and from D to A?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

For what?

Mehek (mehek14):

no look again

5

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Both the y-axis for each coordinate lying horizontal from each other is the same. (2,5) and (5,5) -- in this case it is 5 (2,3) and (5,3) -- in this case it is 3 So just subtract the larger x-axis from the smaller x-axis of the other coordinate. e.g distance from (4,5) to (7,5) would be 3 units (7 - 4 = 3)
