just wanted to share what i just experienced while i took my little sister and friend (neighbor) for a playdate

guys so i went to take my little sister and her friend to go play by this big tree, and a lot of grass. i didnt know that the little girl has diabetes type 1, until she took out her little kit and tested herself. i was like :o and the entire time i was like, what happenes if this child gets an attack... i would have been clueless, but i already know what to do when a diabetic person has an attack. so i was like.. it would have been good to know before i took her out and she is 9 and she treats it like a little friend cause my sister asked what does it do to you? and she said "my pancreas is lazy, so i just put in my insulin and it is good" i was shocked, but at the same time amazed :)
