What might be symbolized by the word bridge in this line from the poem? Till the bridge you will need, be form’d—till the ductile anchor hold;

a bridge can sometimes mean an obstacle, crossing it can be seen as an achievement, but i think, because the bridge is yet to "be form'd", that it means a personal (possibly emotional?) task or objective. I'd need to see more of the poem to fully understand. At least the paragraph the line was taken from.
