Can someone explain buddhism and hinduism? Who do they believe in? what is the difference?

They believe in many gods . Their beliefs are very similar , but they are different . Hindus believe that someone is born in class in society and they can not go up or down the social ladder . However , Buddhists believe someone can climb up or fall down the social ladder .

Buddhism has no ties to any deities, Hinduism does. The are very different, @ICBM perhaps you are mixing the Buddhism of Japan which has Shinto concepts with regular Buddhism.
