Please Help! I will give a medal! Choose the sentence that is punctuated correctly. a. Everyone has cell phones, laptops, and fax machines, and many people couldn't get along without them. b. Everyone has cell phones, laptops, and fax machines: and many people couldn't get along without them. c. Everyone has cell phones, laptops, and fax machines; and many people couldn't get along without them. I think it is c....

The proper answer would be A. The answer would not be C because a semicolon- ; is an indication that you are about to create a list when in this sentence you are just stating another idea. It is appropriate to indicate that there is a pause in the thoughts, therefore a comma- , as stated in answer A would be most appropriate. Does that makes sense?
